Everyone Gets a Role

Roles are chosen on the first day of camp and everyone gets a part of their own with at least one line to learn. Even if they are not at reading level yet!

Showcase

The end of camp showcase is what students work towards. This is a chance for students to practice and showcase all the things they learned in camp. This is moment that gives them a chance to try out performing, working together, and being brave.

Holistic Curriculum

Students are encouraged to participate in every aspect of putting on a show including costume design, set design, prop-making, and more. Students make a take home craft each day of camp. Students are responsible for executing the blocking, choreography, music, scene changes, and more. Students are given the tools to make the show their own.

A typical camp day includes:

-Physical and vocal warm-ups

-Vocal and music technique

-Blocking of scenes

-Choreography and dance technique

-Rehearsal

-Snack breaks

-Crafting

-Improvisation games

-Brain breaks

-Performance and acting technique

-Review
