Frequently Asked Questions

  • -Nope! We curate the classes to fit each student's individual skill level.

  • Every student gets a role in camp! Roles are assigned the first day of camp by discussing with the students what each role entails. Then we ask students to stand on their own and list the following:

    -their name and age

    -their role preferences

Roles get determined based on preference consideration and their comfortability on stage.

  • Students should wear comfortable shoes and clothing to dance in. Official dance wear is not required.

Students should also bring a labeled water bottle and lunch that includes a snack. We take two meal breaks; one for snack and one for lunch.

Please leave at home any food containing nuts and any toys or stuffies.

  • -Yes! We have found that children who tend to be on the shy side benefit greatly from a musical theatre camp. We nurture the power of observation and don't push them to do anything they don't feel comfortable with. Most shy students end up gaining confidence and enjoy making new friends, and performing on stage by the end of camp.

  • Yes! We hold a performance for family and friends on the last day of camp. It is typically the last 30 mins of the last day and includes a 15-20 minute performance along with a prize handout. We encourage extended family to watch via Zoom.

  • No. We will give costume suggestions in your information email, one week prior to camp start date. We encourage looking in your closet or getting creative versus buying anything.

  • Picture day is the Wednesday of camp week and it is where we encourage campers to come to camp that day wearing a fun costume or dress up outfit of their choice. It does not have to be their costume they are using for the show. It can be an old halloween costume or something they feel fancy in. We take a photo of them to include in the show playbill we print for the performance.
