Emerging Artists Musical Theatre Academy has proudly supported performance education for Long Beach and Torrance families for over ten years. Our skillful instructors have worked with countless students during seasonal camps, class series, and intensives, that serve as training/coaching, a creative outlet, a community, and a stepping stone in a life of inspired personal expression.

We maintain high standards while addressing challenges with care and structure. Each element is thoughtfully developed to support stability and growth. Our approach is balanced and well-planned, ensuring clarity, consistency, and strong foundations throughout. Every detail is refined to create a reliable, effective, and purposeful experience.

Our Mission

Our Mission is to provide students of all ages with a knowledge of theatre, movement, and musicality, as well as production and performance technique in an established environment that cultivates self-expression and self-discovery. Our instructors work passionately to encourage well-rounded artists who, through performance and dance, are inspired to explore and nurture the creative spirit inherent in all of us!

Our Programming

We offer year-round programs including seasonal theatre camps, class series during the school year, and musical theatre pop-up/intensives. Whether your child just wants to give it a try, or loves musical theatre as an integral part of their lives, we respect and honor all levels of interest.

Our Students

We believe that musical theatre should be accessible to everyone. Our instructors and programs honor children of all genders and backgrounds. Many of our students return to EAMTA season after season – some have even returned as assistants to our instructors into their early adulthood! We are grateful for our community and the bonds we have formed.
